01 Stalling

Stalling

The stalls at The Horse Park at Woodside are temporary 12 x 10 and have rubber mats. Stalls will be available starting at NOON on Sunday, June 28, at a fee of $375 per stall and includes 6 bags of white pine shavings per stall. Additional shavings prior to arrival, must be ordered by June 24th to ensure they will be delivered to your stalls prior to move-in. Shavings will be available for purchase during the show. Please order shavings and hay by 11am each day for late afternoon or next morning delivery. Shavings, Grass and Alfalfa hay will be available, along with an assortment of feed. That information will be available separately.

Note

Priority stall placement is given to event sponsors. Stall reservations must be RECEIVED by June 22nd with payment in full made out to Woodside Slide, LLC. Reservations received after June 22nd will be charged a late fee of $25 per stall. No refunds on stalls after June 26th.

Horses leaving the show must depart The Horse Park at Woodside by 6:00AM, Monday July 6th unless requesting extended layover at the Horse Park at Woodside. If interested in an extended layover, please contact us at info@woodsideslide.com prior to June 22nd to discuss your needs such as stabling requirements. Due to very limited availability and stall placement, all horses planning an extended layover must be stabled in the Sand Hill barns at move-in. Any extended layover must vacate the Horse Park at Woodside no later than 9am on July 10th, 2026.

TRAINERS — YOU ARE ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR STALLS ORDERED IN YOUR GROUP! PLEASE COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS TO AVOID DUPLICATE STALL ORDERS.
02 Day Haul-Ins

Day haul ins

Exhibitors are allowed to haul into the event and tie to their trailers in designated parking areas only. There is a fee of $50 per horse per day to haul into the event. Parking in undesignated parking areas will be subject to $100 fine per occurrence. Security Officers will be patrolling grounds daily.

03 Health Requirements & Certificates

Health requirements & certificates

Health requirements for the State of California will be followed. Out of State Horses: owners/agents are required to present a 30-day ORIGINAL health certificate, and 12-month Coggins. Horses Residing in California: owners/agents are required to present a 30-day ORIGINAL health certificate. Make sure the horse's registration names are listed on the paperwork. Papers are required to be presented to the show office at check-in. CA requires $14 per horse drug fee.

04 Show Tabs & Payment

Show tabs

An open check or credit card number for each horse entered will be required to pick up competitor numbers. Tabs not closed out by 2PM Friday will be closed out by office personnel. Trainers will be responsible for all client fees and therefore will be applied to trainer's show bill as of Friday July 3rd.

Failure to pay

Any checks returned as NSF will incur a $50 Bank Fee. Any fees associated with the entry of a horse in Woodside Slide, including but not limited to entry fees, administrative fees, stall fees, sponsorships, etc. which are not paid in full within 10 days of the close of the event will result in being reported to NRHA for suspension.

05 Entries & Divisions

4 Year Old & Derby Divisions

Submission of completed Entry Form, one per horse, NRHA Competition License and Owner/Rider current NRHA Membership cards, signed Participation Liability Release, and form of payment must be RECEIVED by June 24, for entry to be considered complete and avoid the $100 late fee assessment. For entries that are emailed, there must be Woodside Slide Credit Card Authorization Form included to at least hold the entry. If holding entry with a credit card, please write HOLD by the credit card info and mail a check immediately. Post entry terms are listed below.

Ancillary & Maturity Divisions

Entries

Entries must be RECEIVED AND PAID by 6/24/26. Once a horse is entered, they may enter additional classes with no late fee (if entered by the noon deadline)

Late entries

Aged and Ancillary division post entries will be accepted until 12:00pm the day BEFORE the class is to take place for the above fees.

An Additional $50 (ancillary) $200 (Aged Event) will be charged for entries received after noon the day before up until 5 PM the day before the class. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 5 PM. Late entries will go at show managements discretion for the ancillary classes and for the aged events, late entries will go in a group preceding the regular draw.

Ancillary classes scratched PRIOR to the draw will receive a refund of entry and judge's fee. NO REFUNDS OF ANY ENTRY FEES ONCE THE ENTRIES HAVE CLOSED.

Drags

Ancillary classes will drag after 8 and ALL Aged Event competition will have a drag after every 6 horses in the draw. The drag WILL NOT be moved due to scratches.

Ancillary

For horses of any age as of the start of the calendar year. See NRHA rule book for division requirements.

Derby

For horses four, five, six, seven and EIGHT years of age as of the start of the calendar year. Exhibitors must enter up one level from eligibility.

Maturity

For horses aged 9 and over as of the start of the year.

06 Fees & Refunds

Fees

Each horse entered in the event will be assessed the following fees once per horse: Administration Fee $85.00, California State Drug Fee $14.00, NRHA Medication Fee $35.00, Photo/Video Fee $50

Woodside Slide supports the Reinig Horse Foundation and there will be an opt-out donation of $10 per entry.

A 3.5% convenience fee will be added to all credit card charges. Returned checks will be charged a $50 NSF Fee.

Refunds

After June 24th, cancellation of an Aged Event Entry will receive a refund of entry fees with submission of veterinary certificate stating the horse is unable to compete due to health reasons. Horses may be substituted, based on management's discretion. Ancillary divisions will receive a refund of their entries if the divisions are scratched prior to the draw taking place. The Administration Fee of $85.00 is non-refundable. Stalls are not refundable for any reason after June 26.

07 Prize Money & Awards

Prize money

NRHA payback Schedule B percentages utilized for all Aged Events and all Ancillary classes will payout based on NRHA rules and appropriate payout schedule.

Award payout checks

Payouts will not be released without the proper EIN or Social Security number of Payee. It is the exhibitor's responsibility to provide the show office with all pertinent tax information and correct mailing address. Payout checks will be available in the show office the day after the class runs. Saturday checks will be mailed. If you have not received your check within 10 days, please check with show management to verify tax information and/or address.

Awards

Exhibitors are responsible for picking up their awards at the event. Awards not picked up at the event will not be shipped.

08 Photography & Video

Photography & video

Competitors are encouraged to purchase videos from the official show videographer and images from the official photographer are being offered free of charge. By way of entry into the event, competitors, and their respective employees, agents and family members grant permission without remuneration for the use and public distribution of their image, likeness, voice, and video for the possible promotion of the event. All exhibitors will be subject to the use of photographers and videographers under the direction of show management for the benefit of show promotion. No exhibitor will be allowed the discretionary use of his or her services. All images pertaining to or in relation to the Woodside Slide show are under the sole ownership of Woodside Slide. Only reporters assigned by recognized newspapers, radio or television or the Associated Press will be issued press passes. Requests for press passes MUST be sent via e-mailed to info@woodsideslide.com, on the letterhead of the newspaper, magazine or broadcast outlet and signed by the editor. ALL Outside/Social Media Photographers will be charged $250 per shooter and MUST register in horse show office to receive credentials.

09 Conduct & Animal Welfare

Behavior, conduct & animal welfare

Any action of disrespect, deceit, slander, or fraud directed at the event, show management, grounds crew, show representatives, sponsors or judges will result in disqualification from competition and removal from the facility. No entry, administrative fees or stall refunds will be provided. Individuals accused of unsportsmanlike conduct will be subject to the disciplinary procedures set forth by the National Reining Horse Association in Article A of the handbook. Anyone found to be abusing animals will be disqualified and reported to NRHA. IN ADDITION, THESE INDIVIDUALS WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM PARTICIPATING IN ANY WOODSIDE SLIDE, LLC. EVENTS FOR A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR. Reinstatement of the right to exhibit is based on review by WSS LLC and show management.

Schooling horses during competition conditions

Every competition class offered at this event is broadcast LIVE over the internet to the WORLD. In an effort to maintain the integrity and professional appearance of the event, all exhibitors choosing to enter COMPETITION CLASSES to school horses, MUST present these horses in show attire. Show attire is defined as: Entry is required to present their horse with a show pad, clean tack and the horse's tail must be down (not braided or up in a tail bag/sock-this is now a No Score-per NRHA). It is requested by show management that the rider wear show chaps. As per NRHA Attire Guidelines, a long sleeve shirt, western hat and boots are required, no sweatshirts are allowed. The Paddock Manager at the in-gate will enforce this guideline.

10 RVs & Parking

RVs

Hook up spaces are limited. Maximum 30AMP service provided for $100/night. Includes water and electrical hook up. No sewer hookup. RV pumping service is available at an additional charge and must be ordered in the show office a minimum of 48 hours prior to pumping. Dry camping spaces are available at $85/night. Because of the limited number of spaces, all reservations must be ordered via email to info@woodsideslide.com Sponsors have priority, you will receive a confirmation email and RV spots will be assigned June 22nd. Final payment for RV nights can be applied to show bill.

Security & parking

The Horse Park at Woodside does not provide security in any areas of the facility. Woodside Slide does supply limited security during the daytime hours. However, neither The Horse Park at Woodside, nor Woodside Slide LLC nor Saddle Up Enterprises Inc., are responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items. There are designated areas to park cars, trucks, and trailers. It is required that all trailers be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking in undesignated parking areas will be subject to $100 fine per occurrence. Sponsor parking areas are designated for event sponsors only. All other vehicles are subject to fines and towing for parking in designated sponsor parking areas without showing parking passes.

11 Grounds & Safety

Grounds & safety

NO OUTDOOR FIRES OR WOOD/COAL BBQS ALLOWED | EXTREME FIRE DANGER. Anyone found with an open wood or coal flame will be fined $500 first occurrence and could result in removal from the property. No refunds will be provided!

Dogs

Woodside Horse Park Rule- Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS PLEASE!

Coyote warning

WARNING! LARGE COYOTE PRESENCE AT THE HORSE PARK. BE AWARE OF WALKING YOUR DOGS AND SMALL CHILDREN AROUND THE PARK'S CROSS COUNTRY FIELD

Damages

Individuals will be responsible for any physical damage inflicted on The Horse Park at Woodside property and will reimburse the show management for such damage. All owners and exhibitors shall be responsible for any damage incurred by them, their agents, or employees, to stalls, buildings, and other properties on the show grounds and shall be billed accordingly. CLEAN UP FEE: A FEE OF $250 WILL BE CHARGED TO ALL EXHIBITORS WHO LEAVE BEHIND STALL DECORATING MATERIALS SUCH AS WOOD, WIRE, BARK, GRASS, FLOWERS, ETC. Stalls must be left as you found them!

12 Liability & Rules

Liability

By participating in the Woodside Slide, all competitors agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the show and the governing body NRHA. In addition, you acknowledge that horses are dangerous animals and can be hazardous. By participating in the competition with this knowledge of the danger involved the competitor agrees to accept any and all risks of injury or death. A Release of Liability must be signed by every exhibitor participating in the competition prior to receiving their entry number.

Rules / changes

This show is APPROVED by the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) and the California Reining Horse Association (CRHA) and will be conducted per the Official Rulebook of the NRHA. All NRHA classes will be run according to the rules of the NRHA. If you have questions regarding qualifications for specific classes, please visit their website at www.nrha.com.

Show Management reserves the right to modify or change the terms and conditions of this event at any time. Show management has the authority to enforce all terms and conditions referring to the show and may excuse any horse or exhibitor from the show prior to, during or after the judging without refunds. The show management reserves the right to interpret these terms and conditions. All decisions of the judges are final. By way of making an entry, the exhibitor is assuming responsibility for knowledge of these terms and conditions and releases show management from any claims or losses.

Right to cancel

The show management reserves the right to cancel the event without notice at any time prior to the contest and without liability to the show management. In the event of such cancellation, entry fees or other show fees paid in advance shall be refunded. The show management reserves the right to itself to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to, or arising out of, or incident to, the show without claims for damages or recourse of any kind. All questions not covered in these terms and conditions shall be decided by show management, its decision to be final. SHOW MANAGEMENT RESERVES TO ITSELF THE RIGHT TO REFUSE, ACCEPT CONDITIONALLY, OR TO CANCEL ANY ENTRIES, DISQUALIFY ANY RIDERS OR EXHIBITORS, PROHIBIT EXHIBITION OF ENTRIES AND CANCEL OR CHANGE AWARD PRIZES, WITHOUT CLAIM OF DAMAGES. Every horse entered herein for competition will be under control of the show management, but the show management will in no case be responsible for any theft, loss or damage that may occur and it shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold Woodside Slide LLC, Saddle Up Enterprises, Inc., officials, employees, Directors, Sponsors and the Horse Park at Woodside blameless for any loss or accident to horse(s), self, family members, employees, or equipment.
