Stabling

The stalls at The Horse Park at Woodside are temporary 12 x 12 stalls with rubber mats. Stalls will be available starting at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 30, at a fee of $350 per stall. Each stall includes six (6) bags of white pine shavings. Priority stall placement is given to event sponsors.

Stall reservations must be received by June 25 with payment in full, made out to Woodside Slide. Reservations received after June 25 will be charged a $25 late fee per stall. No refunds on stalls after June 29. Horses must depart The Horse Park at Woodside by 6:00 AM on Monday, July 7.

Trainers: You are ultimately responsible for paying for stalls ordered in your group. Please communicate with your customers to avoid duplicate stall orders.

Day Haul In

Exhibitors may haul into the event and tie to their trailers in designated parking areas only. The fee is $25 per horse, per day. Parking in undesignated areas will result in a $100 fine per occurrence. Security officers will patrol the grounds daily.

Damage

Individuals are responsible for any physical damage to The Horse Park at Woodside property and must reimburse show management accordingly. Owners and exhibitors are responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their agents, or employees to stalls, buildings, or other property on the show grounds and will be billed as necessary.

Clean Up Fee: A $250 fee will be charged to exhibitors who leave behind stall decorating materials such as wood, wire, bark, grass, flowers, etc. Stalls must be left as they were found.

Photography and Video

No outside video or photography is permitted. Competitors are encouraged to purchase videos from the official show cinematographer and photos from the official photographer.

By entering the event, competitors and their employees, agents, and family members grant permission, without remuneration, for the use and public distribution of their image, likeness, voice, and video for promotional purposes. All exhibitors are subject to photography and videography under the direction of show management for event promotion. No exhibitor may independently engage media services.

Only the official event photographer may sell photographs of the Reining by the Bay horse show. All images related to the event are the sole property of Woodside Slide and Brumley Management Group.

Press passes will be issued only to reporters assigned by recognized newspapers, radio, television, or the Associated Press. Requests must be emailed to woodsideslide@gmail.com on official letterhead and signed by the editor. All other photographers must sign an agreement not to sell images except to their employing publications at least two weeks prior to the show. Failure to comply will result in removal from the grounds.

Health Requirements & Certificates

California state health requirements will be followed.

Out-of-State Horses: Must present a 30-day original health certificate and a 12-month Coggins.

California Horses: Must present a 30-day original health certificate.

The horse’s registered name must appear on all paperwork. Documentation must be presented to the show office at check-in.

Liability

By participating in Woodside Slide, competitors agree to abide by all show and NRHA governing rules. Horses are inherently dangerous animals. By participating, competitors accept all risks of injury or death. A signed Release of Liability is required before receiving an entry number.

Rules / Changes

Woodside Slide and Brumley Management Group reserve the right to make additions or changes to the event at any time. Show management may enforce all terms and conditions and may excuse any horse or exhibitor before, during, or after judging without refund. All decisions are final.

Right to Cancel

Show management reserves the right to cancel the event at any time prior to the contest without liability. In such cases, entry and show fees paid in advance will be refunded. Show management reserves sole authority to interpret all questions and conditions related to the event. All decisions are final.

Show management reserves the right to refuse or conditionally accept entries, disqualify riders or exhibitors, prohibit exhibition, and cancel or change awards without claim for damages. Exhibitors hold Woodside Slide, Brumley Management Group, officials, sponsors, and The Horse Park at Woodside harmless for any loss, theft, or damage.

Security and Parking

The Horse Park at Woodside does not provide facility-wide security. Woodside Slide provides limited daytime security. Neither The Horse Park at Woodside nor Brumley Management Group is responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

All vehicles and trailers must park in designated areas. Parking in undesignated areas will result in a $100 fine per occurrence. Sponsor parking is reserved strictly for sponsors and requires proper parking passes.

Disciplinary Procedures

Failure to Pay: Any unpaid fees within 30 days of the event close will result in immediate suspension from Brumley Management Group events until paid in full, including any late or NSF fees.

Behavior, Conduct, and Animal Welfare: Disrespectful, deceitful, fraudulent, or unsportsmanlike behavior toward event officials, sponsors, judges, or staff will result in disqualification and removal without refund. Animal abuse will result in disqualification, reporting to NRHA, and a minimum one-year suspension from BMG events.

Schooling Horses During Competition

All competition classes are broadcast live worldwide. Horses entered in competition classes for schooling must be presented in full show attire, including a show pad, clean tack, tail down (not braided or bagged), and proper NRHA attire (long-sleeve shirt, western hat, boots). Show chaps are requested. The Gate Steward will enforce attire requirements.

Fees

Each horse will be assessed a one-time Administration Fee of $85, Photography Fee of $25, Video Fee of $25, California Drug Fee of $8, and NRHA Drug Fee of $35. Accounts not closed out before departure will incur a $15 close-out fee. A 4.0% convenience fee applies to all credit card charges.

Refunds

After June 25, Aged Event entries may receive a refund with a veterinary certificate stating the horse cannot compete. Ancillary entries scratched prior to the draw will receive a refund. The $85 Administration Fee is non-refundable. Stalls are non-refundable after June 30.

Awards

Exhibitors must pick up awards at the event. Awards will not be shipped unless requested in writing and prepaid with shipping costs plus a $25 service fee.

RVs

Hookup spaces are limited (maximum 30AMP service with water; no sewer). Pumping service is available for an additional fee and must be ordered 48 hours in advance. Dry camping is available. Reservations must be made via the event website. No outdoor fires or wood/coal BBQs are allowed due to extreme fire danger. Violations will result in a $500 fine and possible removal without refund.

Dogs

Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pets.
