Founded in March 2025 by Pat Warren and Barbara Phillips, Woodside Slide Reining was created to bring world-class reining back to the Bay Area through a premium, forward-thinking event experience. Backed by more than 25 years of industry leadership and the reputation of NRHA Hall of Fame horseman Pat Warren, the event combines credibility, competitive excellence, and deep roots in the sport. Barbara Phillips brings a modern perspective shaped by elite training with Luca Fappani, along with a successful background in both the technology sector and the hunter/jumper world.
